Brown Swiss Junior
News Update
October
2007
Dear Junior
Brown Swiss owner;
Hi, my name is Julie
Meisner and I am the NYBSA youth advisor for 2007.
After checking both the National and NYS membership roles and finding as many
eligible youth as we can, I would like
to take this opportunity to tell all of our Junior Brown Swiss Breeders of our
youth programs for 2007; and the deadlines for these contests. They are coming up fast!
To be eligible for any State contests you must be a member in good
standing in the NYBS Association and to qualify for the National awards, you
must be a member of the National Association as well. Remember our state membership is on a yearly
basis and costs $5.00 each year. Check out www.nybrownswiss.com to see if you are a current member, if not there is a
member form right on the web site. The
National Brown Swiss Junior memberships are a one-time application and are from
the age of 9 to 19 as of January 1st of the year. Applications for the National membership are
on line at www.brownswissusa.com/default.asp

110 tickets, yes it is more than the normal 100. But all squares were marked
off, so everyone had a chance to get plopped on, with the winner getting $250.
The juniors were able to earn $850.00. )
